Urban Taggers found this picture at Baidu.com. It's the internals shot of the Elite Triad, a variation of the Jolt. Looks like all 3 darts are fired simultaneously from the direct plunger system that looks no larger than the Jolt's system. Additionally, it appears that to remove the air restrictors in the Triad, you must break open the back panel which is glued on, which will make modifying these a bit of a hassle depending on how strong the adhesive is. It'll also make re-attaching the parts a bit of a pain too, as a seal needs to be recreated.
My question? Are 3 darts better than 1? Debate among yourselves!!
Ok did everyone find this after me or did everyone see my post?? I'm confused!! http://imodifynerfs.blogspot.com/2012/11/part-of-elite-triad-internals-guys-this.html#comment-form
ReplyDeleteI found out through Urban Taggers, hence why I gave credit to them and Baidu.com. If I had found it through iMod's blog, I would've sourced that blog.
DeleteI know. UT made a post after me I believe. Now all the attention is directed at UT and nothing else.
DeleteIt doesn't matter if you're "first" with the news if you don't have the reputation, following, and exposure to get the word out.
DeleteI KNOW but this news spread quickly after I posted
DeleteI think the news spread quickly because folks regularly check Baidu.com. It's a great source of info like this.
DeleteActually I think that you will only be able to fire one at a time, and you pick which barrel to fire from. This is how it was fired in the demo video that was posted on SgNerf
ReplyDeleteHmm, I actually haven't seen that. A quick search over at SG Nerf didn't find it either. Mind linking that to us?

DeleteIt is hard to tell what exactly is going on, because it is in another language, but it is as if the guy uses the top two barrels as ammo holders. but this picture shows that it can fire from all 3 barrels. Very Interesting...
never mind random shadow just did a demo in english, and showed how it works. I was half right.
