JetCell gets some Mavs! Who wants a Steampunk blaster?

EDIT:  I KNOW this is a whole day early!  I goofed when someone mentioned the giveaway and thought "Oh, it's that time already?  Better pick the winner!"  Next week's Giveaway will end on a FRIDAY, I promise!  Sorry for the confusion!
Congratulations to JetCell, the proud winner of TWO Maverick REV-6 blasters!  Now she can enjoy Dual Wielding these iconic Nerf Blasters and, with the help of all the advice in last week's contest, has a bunch of different ways to do it!  Hope you like 'em!

This is also a great time to fill you all in on JetCell and her contributions to the Nerf community.  She's done an excellent job with running the ever-popular Nerf Wikia.  From graphic work to the excellent organization and information there, it's kind of a holy grail of Nerf Info.  In addition to that, JetCell designed the graphics and is a "modmin" at Universal Nerf!

Damon's Painted Mav
This week's question is about REPAINTS.  It's not even a question this week, really.  I've already kinda touched on this as far as the Longshot went, but in general I wanna see your repainted blasters. If you can't take a picture, just describe it.  But as incentive and as an added bonus, if you include a link to a picture of your blaster, you'll be entered TWICE.  If you're a follower of the Blog, your name will be entered THREE TIMES!!  It's time to show off your skills!  Oh, and should any of you try to post someone ELSE'S work as your own... yeah you won't win a thing.

Speaking of Winning (duh), here's this week's prize!  A repainted Steampunk Hornet AS-6 from Neo Creations!!  He's graciously put this fella up for the giveaway for this week and in general, he does NICE work.  Check out his blog to see all his latest work, including the Longshot he did that's featured at Universal Nerf!

    1. Posted, and thanks! Besides, I don't think you're eligible to win something from yourself!

    2. Yeah, I didn't plan on winning this one. Giving my input can't hurt though.

  3. Oh gaw, now I'll have four Mavericks. I guess I'll give one to my friend and then we can have proper Nerf wars. Gotta share the love!

Also, you didn't seem to reply to me last night, but I found two old Laser Challenge Team Force blasters in my room. Are you interested in taking them from me? I don't have the vest things that go with them, but I'm sure you'd be able to find a use for them.

  6. Can I send you a Windows painting? I have an idea of a paint scheme I just need to finish the blaster and get the paint which for me is far from now.

  8. Most of it's done with spraypaint for cost reasons, but I like the way my longshot turned out. http://imgur.com/4Ab0c

  9. I haven't painted in AGES, but here was my last one:

I don't really care for it much. All I did was paint a coat of flat black, then dry brushed the whole blaster.
I do plan to do another paint job in the future, but on what blaster is to be decided. :)

Here is something I just finished up.
I did some LED wiring and added cool tac light attachment I slapped together. That is fake leather in the grip so back off me PETA.

The last pic is of the on/off for the green, I put it there because it's hidden and clean and I hate how dumb storage for a single dart is.

  17. I repainted and external modded my Longshot. It is the black widow that was featured in Bazooka's LS post a week or so ago. Here is the link to my page and some pictures of the blaster! Hope you all enjoy it and check out my page at the same time.
