  1. I have heard bad things about Xplorer. May I suggest that you watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPbAmySUE1U
I would also suggest that you take apart your blaster to see if the metal parts are destroying the plastic.

    1. Yeah, if I recall correctly Jerm said these were okay, but expensive, coop said they were horrible, but expensive, and now 'zook are saying they are excellent. I don't know what is going on.

    2. The metal catch that coop said was lousy, it was not from Xplorer, it's from a shop that sells cheap/low quality mod parts. Xplorer do not make metal catch plates.
i'm From Singapore. i own both OMW parts and Xplorer parts. And Xplorer parts are by far way better then OMW. Yes i agree that Xplorer stuffs are crazy expensive... but you you pay for what you get.

      i own 3 Xstampedes and 1 XLongshot.

My XLongshot runs on a 25KG spring load... crazy power/range! its still working fine after 3 months of nerf wars, no sign of the bolt sled breaking yet.

    3. Devil's Advocate here... while I'm sure some of the parts Coop got for that Longshot came from Xplorer, that catch and backplate might have been from Black Tactical, since from the video they are the closest match I could find to them since Xplorer actually does not have a metal catch or plate sold separately. And from the looks the Ultimate kit has a different plate and the catch looks like a polymer not metal.

HOWEVER... that being said, Xplorer is way over priced for anyone stateside or anywhere. Their ultimate kit is over $400... I'll repeat $400... You could by 10-15 longshots for that cost. The bolt sled and plunger are over $100 each, and that Shotgun Grip, while I love the design and would love to get one, is $70. Plus factor in shipping and handling. At minimum to upgrade your Longshot, you will spend over $300 at least using those parts.

In my opinion I don't like paying more for a kit then the product itself, and at close to 750% more than what I paid for the Longshot, just for parts??.... Oh hell no.

    4. While you make an excellent point, you realize the Fighter kit is only 70 bucks, right? Xplorer does have some pretty expensive kits out there, but they've also got some affordable ones that, in my limited experience thus far, have really been high quality high performance parts. http://www.xplorersg.com/Xpower_kit_for_Longshot_FIGHTER_edition/p1477121_8295562.aspx

  2. I have heard many great things about Xplorer as well. Their products are usually of a higher quality and of better finishing than other kits available. Also, their shotgun grip design is simply awesome~!

  3. It's not fair to take Xplorer's Ultimate kit to compare with other mods available out there. The Aluminium plunger rod is crazy expensive and heavy, because it is meant for people who run more than 20kg on their longshots. Hence, it is entirely optional. You can't just look at their most expensive (but gives highest performance) and ignore the other kits available at a lower price. I believe that Xplorer kits aren't meant for just anyone out there. Yes I admit they are very expensive but play by your budget.

Xplorer is Singapore based, and in Singapore, the minimum spring load people run in their longshots are 14kg. The par is 19kg. It is increasing as we speak. Since the Xpower breech system works on delivery speed of air, it is necessary to have a heavy spring load to crease the speed release. With this, Xplorer also custom make replacement parts that although seem just like another plastic piece, it is made of high grade plastic that has high resistance.

Give Zook a chance. At least let him finish his review on the Fighter kit, which is the most basic and most affordable of them all, before making any further remarks. Besides, you don't have to buy the most expensive kit to show off that ego. It's how smart you play. period.

  6. Guy not forgetting they never fail to deliver. Their new kit launching timing was unbelieved. Thry kaunch their elite kit in less than a week. Best of all there no need for re-order. I have try many types of MOD kit and home make method. Nothing come near the quality, performance and accuracy. Especially their LS kit... if u looking at rapid automatc shooting Xpede is a must home too... voltage and mod are unbelievable stable and range is amazing. If u want something compact... xretaliator is a must have with xprime...
