N-Strike Elite Demolisher "Pic Spam"

A few first impressions before I work on this review?  Man this blaster has some presence.  It's certainly front-heavy, but as you can see from the photos, it's not ALL that much bigger than a Stryfe for the body.  It's very VERY orange.  Like, people who work for "Floridas' Natural" would even get sick of it.  This blaster is also a little louder than I expected.  Probably due to the motors being a little stronger since it is boasting "85 Ft Ranges" over the standard 75 that the Elite lineup has assumed. 

The launcher has me disappointed so far.  It lacks any sort of "oomph" that previous launchers have delivered.  To really get it to fly, you've gotta do the work for it, as a simple slide of the handle will have you looking at a sad 15 ft range.  Slam that sucker to get some distance out of it.  If nothing else, it works well as a big beefy handle for the Demolisher.

It's accessories are slightly underwhelming.  The Banana Clip, as you can see from the photos, is larger than a standard 12-round Mag.  Is the sacrifice of two rounds, larger size, and no translucent viewing for the darts inside really worth the "Tacti-cool Factor" it is supposed to have?  I'm not sold on it.  Then there's the Stock that it comes with.  It holds an extra Missile, but it sort of pokes you in the face when you're aiming.  The length isn't quite as long as a Super Soaker stock, but it's still much better than the Retaliator one... at least for me.

Other than that, there's WAY more testing and nit-picking to be had with this... but I am still overall pleased with it.  Ideas are flowing and I'm digging through my accessories to see what looks best on this blaster.  If there's a certain loadout or picture you'd like me to take, let me know and I'll try to get to it!
