LTX's Re-released

Although it only appears to be at Toys R Us stores, Hasbro seems to be rolling out more Nerf-Brand LTX 2 Player sets.  Prices on these aren't what they used to be.  This set originally retailed for 49.99USD.  Now they're on TRU shelves for 69.99USD and on Amazon.com for 59.99USD.  It is unclear how long these will remain on shelves and I don't have any information if these are slated to return to other retail outlets anytime soon.  Accessories and expansions planned for the LTX line are likely at a standstill until Hasbro can justify releasing them if this wave of LTXs does well.

  1. Better get them before they are gone. Their return to store shelves contradicts the nasty rumor that Hasbro has ceased production. Although, when they do mysteriously reappear, it is always at the same two vendors.

  3. Can you tell me if the Nerf line are still compatible with the original Tiger release attachments or have they altered the moulds to take away the connections? We've been thinking of picking up some more Nerf branded ones but only if they can accommodate the shotgun attachment (we're using them in a "ooh upgrades" video-game esque manner, hiding them in boxes in the field to find on the fly)

    Cheers,

  4. The only difference between the Tiger brand and Nerf Brand LTXs is the logo. All accessories still work on the tagger. They are 100% compatible with eachother.

  6. LTX Shotblasts were only released with the "Tiger Electronics" versions. They were the first to hit shelves of the LTX Line. They had Shotblasts and Green Dot Sights as well as a TV Game Module. When Hasbro rebranded the LTX as "Nerf" (the versions that are available now) they did away with those extras.
